Weird trick frees up tons of storage on your Phone without deleting a thing

If you own a 16GB iPhone, you are probably used to seeing the “Not Enough Storage” message when you try to download an app or take a photo.
But what if there was a way to magically free up storage on your iPhone without deleting any photos or apps? As a Reddit user pointed out last month, there’s a way to “trick” your phone into freeing up storage space without deleting apps or photos.
Here’s how it works
First, go to Settings > General > About and see how much storage you have available. For the example below to work, you need to have less than 8GB of available space on your iPhone.
Next, head over to the iTunes store and search for War and Peace (1956) HD and find the “RENT” ($3.99) option.
Why War and Peace? That’s where the trick comes in. If you were to rent this movie, it would take up 8.86GB on your iPhone. But you have less than 8GB free, right?
If you click “RENT,” you will get this message:
“There is not enough available storage to download “War and Peace.” You can manage your storage in Settings.”
Once you see this message, wait about 10 seconds before you tap Settings. Then navigate to General > About and you should see some additional storage space available on your iPhone. You can repeat this same process again and it might free up additional storage space.
We repeated these steps five times and went from 450MB to 1.6GB of free space on a 16GB iPhone 6. One user in the Reddit thread said they went from 233MB to 4.9GB. As you can expect, results will vary.
Important note: Once your phone has enough free space for the 8.86 GB rental, the movie will successfully download and you’re out $3.99. Be sure to keep checking your available space if you’re repeating the steps above. Once you get close to 8GB of storage space, you should stop.
So… how does it work?
When you attempt to download a file that is too large, in the background your iPhone is clearing unnecessary data, cookies, history, and other app caches that are no longer needed in an effort to make room for the large file.
After going through the above steps, you can also go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage and you will notice some apps are using less storage than before.

This Ancient Medicine “Cures All Diseases” HIV, AIDS, Diabetes, Cancer, Stroke, STDs, Arthritis & More …

Cancer has become the plague of modern day and millions of people are dying every year due to this disease. Scientists are constantly on the lookout for new, alternative ways of treatment which may eventually lead to a cure and this time they may be on the right track. According to recent studies, black cumin seed oil (nigella sativa) has the ability to hider cancer cell activity and has proven effective in the treatment against cancer. These results are still limited to animal studies but the researchers are hopeful it will be effective in humans as well.  The studies showed that black cumin seed oil and its extract thymoquinone can be used effectively in the treatment against liver cancer, melanoma, pancreatic cancer, cervical cancer, breast cancer, bone cancer, stomach cancer, lymphoma, prostate cancer, colon cancer and brain cancer.

Even though numerous studies have shown promising results, scientists still haven’t made any progress in human clinical trials. Scientists are wondering why, since they know it has virtually no unwanted side-effects. Modern medicine has yet to approve the benefits from black seed oil in cancer treatment even though it’s proven effective against multiple cancer types. This article is going to do an in-depth analysis into this oil’s benefits and discuss the possible reasons why the pharmaceutical industry wishes to keep its amazing powers a secret.
This oil has been used as cancer treatment for millennia
In 2011 two different studies were conducted in China and Saudi Arabia which came to the same conclusion. They discovered that this oil has been used as a traditional natural remedy against many diseases, including cancer, for centuries. Both studies confirmed its anti-cancer properties. It’s not just cancer that this oil is effective against; it can help eliminate a long list of other diseases as well, such as cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, and kidney disease and so on.
Even though there have numerous studies into the health benefits of black seed oil, scientists still haven’t been able to determine what exactly triggers its cancer-fighting properties. According to some, its active ingredient thymoquinone acts as an antioxidant and boosts the immune system. What is certain about this amazing remedy is that it causes apoptosis in cancer cells without damaging the immune system.  We’re just surprised by the fact that modern medicine has only recognized its abilities in the last few decades, even though it’s been around for centuries.

Traditional medicine is right – black cumin seed and honey work together
It was also proven that black cumin seed oil is even more effective in combination with raw honey. This was discovered by a group of Egyptian scientists who had been studying the effect of this combination on oxidative stress and cancer by exposing rats to a strong carcinogen. They divided the rats into four groups, of which three were fed just black seed oil or honey and just one group was fed the combination of honey and black seed oil. 6 months later they compared results and discovered that the groups that was exposed to just black cumin seeds had 80% protection against oxidative stress and cancer while the group that was exposed to black cumin seeds and honey had 100% protection against oxidative stress, cancer formation and inflammation.
Black seeds oil is great for radiation treatment
Another study, from 2014, was conducted regarding the effects of black cumin oil on patients undergoing radiation therapy for cancer and came to amazing results. It’s known that many patients suffer serious side-effects from this treatment and the researchers wanted to learn if this oil can help them eliminate at least some of the side-effects. They conducted experiments on irradiated rats. The rats were first exposed to a single dose of gamma radiation. One group was given a gram of the oil an hour before radiation and received a 10 gr. dose for the next 10 days. The other group was given a saline solution. The control group was not irradiated. After the control period the researchers examined the data collected. It was discovered that black cumin seed oil reduces the oxidative stress markers and has potent antioxidant effects, augmenting the antioxidant capacity in the liver tissues of rats. So, administering the oil before radiation and for 10 days afterwards protected the rodents from the harmful radiation effects. The black seed oil protected the spleen, liver, brain and intestines from the harmful effects of radiation. The study proved that black cumin seeds oil can be effectively used for protection against radiation damage and biochemical alterations in patients undergoing radiation as part of their cancer treatment. It protects the immune system by eliminating free radicals and also serves as a powerful antioxidant. The scientists are hopeful that the oil can soon be used on humans as well and improve their quality of life.
The Black seeds interfere with uncontrolled cell growth and kill liver cancer cells
A study was conducted in 2013 in India examining the effects of black seed oil on liver cancer in rats. The rats were divided into two groups; one was given water with 0.01% thymoquinone while the other group drank just water. 4 months later they measured the liver cancer nodules, injury markers and tumor markers and compared results. The group which drank thymoquinone water had their tumor markers significantly shrunk and they hadn’t developed any new markers either. This study confirmed that black seed oil can be very effective against liver cancer, preventing cancer cells proliferation.
The black seed oil kills lung cells
Scientists from Saudi Arabia conducted a study in 2014 on the effects of black seed oil and its extract in lung cancer treatment. They exposed cancer cells to 0.01 mg/ml of the oil and 1mg/ml of the extract and compared results afterwards. It was discovered that both the extract and the oil significantly reduced the population of the living cancer cells and changed their cellular morphology.
Black Seed Components Kill Malignant Brain Cancer Cells
According to a study from 2013, published by a group of researchers from the Ohio State University glioblastoma was determined to be the most aggressive and most common type of malignant brain tumor in humans. Hence, they discovered the need for further and more extensive research into finding a better treatment strategy and possibly even a cure for this type of brain tumor. Since they were familiar with the powerful anti-cancer properties of black cumin seed oil their study was mainly focused on this natural remedy as a possible alternative therapy for glioblastoma. They discovered that thymoquinone, the active ingredient in black seed oil, has selective cytotoxic properties, which means that it has the ability to eliminate cancerous cells leaving healthy human cells intact.
The study focused on the inhibitory properties of thymoquinone and discovered that it can prevent cancer cells multiplication in the brain and spinal cord, while allowing the healthy cells to function properly. Black seed extract can also prevent the continued growth of cancer cells causing the tumor to regress and increasing the chances of survival of the affected organs.
All of these studies show promising results and pave the way towards new and exciting methods of cancer treatment. We just need to be persistent and not give up; the cure may have been right in front of us this entire time!

9 Signs You’re Dating a Wrong Man

I was once a boy, now I’m a man. It took me twenty-nine years to get there, but I’ve arrived. It’s more than most men can say.
And that’s because age has nothing to do with being a man. Age is merely a number—actions define who he really is. But here’s the problem—most women spend their timetrying to change boys into men.
Well that ends today. If you’re dating a boy right now, it’s up to you to be a woman and move on with your life.
#1 Boys avoid uncomfortable conversations – men know how to communicate their needs.
Even the best relationships have friction. You’re going to do or say something he doesn’t like—it’s inevitable. Boys are passive aggressive, whereas a mature man will have a productive conversation with you…even if it’s a little awkward.
#2 Boys only want to hook up – men invest their time and energy in the right woman.
There’s a moment in every man’s life when he realizes that being in a relationship makes him significantly happier than chasing “tail” every night. If you’re only hearing from him at 1 a.m. on a Saturday night, he’s not ready to give up his toys. Move on and find yourself a grown man.
#3 Boys will compliment you to get in your pants – men pay compliments because they want you to feel great about yourself.
There’s a huge difference between delivering a compliment to get something and delivering a compliment to give something. Mature men are givers because they know a mature woman will reciprocate.
#4 Boys live day by day – men work hard to build a future for themselves and their woman.
When you’re only focused on making yourself happy, you can party every night and be lazy every day. Once you realize that other people are relying on you, you’re willing to make the sacrifices you need to support your family.
#5 Boys are intimidated by smart women – men are stimulated by them.
If he’s insecure about his own intellect, he won’t risk it with a smart girl. The boy will stay in his comfort zone, whereas a mature man wants the challenge of a smart woman.
#6 Boys make promises they can’t keep – men say it and mean it.
One of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made was telling a woman I loved her when I didn’t mean it. I was a scared little boy trying to make a girl happy. A mature man will tell a woman how he feels when he feels it. And if it’s not there, he won’t make it up.
#7 Boys avoid any chance of rejection – men face their fears and go for it.
Here’s the thing, both men and boys hate getting rejected—no matter who you are, rejection sucks.  The only difference is that a mature man will push through his fears and go for it anyway because you’re worth it.
#8 Boys don’t set priorities – a man realizes what’s most important and makes you a priority.
A mature man wants to spend his time with the people he cares about. And if he’s dating you, he cares about you. He will want to be with you and only you.
#9 Boys put you down – men encourage and support you.
Scared little boys will try to drag a woman down with them as a defense mechanism. A mature man understands that he will grow as a man if his woman is growing as a woman.

Say No To Marital Abuse | A Wife's Dilemma

We hear of rape victims being robbed of their life on lonely streets, in buses and even crowded markets. But the untold story of numerous rapes, begin at home. Being married does not grant the man a license to intercourse, consent is a necessity.
Unfortunately, the real story is very different. The Short Kuts, shows you what happens behind closed doors. When the victim has no legal route to take or forgives the act, fearing the society. In such a society it’s important to create awareness and tell people that marital rape is still rape, and should be taken just as seriously.

From Journalist To A Politician Amazing Journey Of Inspirational Transgenders of India

Apsara Reddy is one of the most iconic and inspirational transgenders of India and perhaps the only trans personality to head several National Newspapers across the world. Born a boy, Apsara later transitioned to be a woman. She has a BA degree in Journalism from Monash University, Australia and MA in Broadcasting with a special focus on Developmental Economics from City University, London. After her education, Apsara has worked briefly with UNICEF to launch a health campaign across Tamil Nadu. She is an active voice that speaks against violence against women, corruption and dynastic politics. Apsara has worked with the BBC WORLD SERVICE, The Hindu, Commonwealth Secretariat in London, New Indian Express and Deccan Chronicle. Her national columns on consumerism, politics, celebrity lifestyles and education have put her in the top league of journalists. Her activism and lobbying also got her a plum job at the Indian Consulate in Melbourne. She was in the year 2013 awarded an excellence award by Jaguar Motors. She is also the recipient of many awards through Rotary, Round Table and other organizations. On International Women’s Day, Apsara joined the BJP and she hopes to work towards empowering the youth of the country and addressing issues such as prohibition, environment and the welfare of the backward classes. Apsara Reddy shares her experiences and her achievements in an exclusive interview

1. As a transsexual woman, do you feel the transsexual society is empowered enough?Empowerment is not limited to visibility. It has to do with spaces of all kinds being available to transwomen. In that regard, NO. Most employers and even the empowered corporates shy away from the trans community. We are not seen as a talent pool, much more like a fringe minority with freakish behaviour. I would say, we cannot blame anyone for this because my own sisters don’t make a good case for themselves. Often the animated gestures, abusive language, begging and resorting to prostitution as the only ways to make a living put us in very bad light. Transwomen should see this evolution as a progressive one and not stoop so low. Even when opportunities come their way some of them settle for an easier way of life. Life is not easy, I agree. And I haven’t had it easy, so much more harder as my family is a traditional one and convincing them, took way too long.

2. You now entered the political arena as a spokesperson. It’s an achievement in itself, will this pay-wave for the transgender community to consider politics? I am not here to champion the cause of the trans-community alone. But yes, I am proof that people from the trans-community too can be in mainstream. In saying that, I don’t want to limit my scope to just being a beacon of hope for one community alone. I believe intellect, sensibility and strategy are necessary to empower and enlighten all sects of people. I don’t see it as an achievement. It’s only a small baby step that I have taken to indulge in welfare work.

3. Share some of the challenges you went through to reach up to this point? I am the one who believes, if life isn’t a bed of roses, then you got to learn to make love to the thorns. I have faced every situation in life with absolute honesty and dignity. Having an alcoholic father wasn’t the best environment for me, but I excelled in academics. There would be moments when there were financial hurdles, deceptive friends, small talk that cut deep and sometimes societal gossip that is so baseless. I have never been the one to react to any of it. My single point focus was progress. I am the one who believes respect comes before love or hate. It took me a long time to prove my mettle at every step of the way. Being a woman itself is tough, imagine being a trans-woman.

4. Tamil Nadu has been in the forefront in the empowerment of the transgender woman. Are you happy with the progress? Yes TN undoubtedly has done a few things for the trans-community. But all these remain tokenistic installations or policies. Daily lives and living hasn’t changed. We need a more well-thought out strategy to deal with a very complex and multi-layered community. Workshops, sustainable employment, some minimal reservation in the job sector and political recognition are necessary.

5. What do you intend to achieve in your political career? A political platform and position is very essential to effect positive change in the Welfare sector. I feel it’s my responsibility to empower youth and build stronger communities. I want to leave a mark, where even after me people can remember the good work I have done.

6. Share the best moments of your life? Working with the BBC and meeting some of the most brightest minds in the world has been very rewarding. I loved interviewing Nicolas Cage for The Hindu. Going on the grand prix tour with Michael Schumacher and writing about it for The Hindu while I was still a student was a proud moment for me.

Put Plastic Bottles And Get Free Water In Return : IIT Bombay’s Students New Innovation

We see a lot of plastic garbage around us, many times we get depressed thinking that where will this garbage end up in sea killing whales or circulates in our own life in a form of toxic. There are plastics that can be recycled but many times they also end up in landfills. Two final year IIT Bombay students have developed a temporary solution of this problem and that is giving incentive to people who are interested in recycling the plastic garbage. Anurag Meena and Satyendra Meena have developed a machine where you can put a used can or bottle and in return you will get 300ml of clean water. This will help in creating responsible communities in urban spaces. The machine is being build by Chandigarh-based start-up Trester and the idea is to get this into places like malls, cinema halls, railway stations or any place where footfalls are larges. At present, the initiative is being piloted in Chandigarh and Mumbai.

How it works The machine has a water storage capacity of eight litres and can dispense room temperature as well as cold water. The water is RO and UV treated. The machine has internet and bluetooth to enable usage and maintenance related notifications. It has recycling unit with a capacity of 2 litre, once compartment reaches 80 per cent of its storage capacity, an automated notification is sent to the machine administrator.

Cost and plans of the company While the basic version of the machine costs Rs 50,000, with add-ons the cost of the machine can go up to Rs 1 lakh. Currently, one such machine is being installed in the IIT Mumbai boys’ hostel. The company plans to manufacture 5,000 machines every month. The company is looking for funding as of now.

This Guys One Idea Can Uplift Indian Economical And Enviromental Conditions At the Milestone Height, Watch It

Fossil fuels Add pollution to THE atmosphere,  are limited, non-renewable and take hundreds of years to form which involves various geophysical processes. If they remain untapped, then they can provide a much-needed lubrication to tectonic plates which can abate an earthquake too.

To combat the issue of pollution, to avoid rapid depletion of the limited resource and to provide something ‘Green’ to our air, a mechanic from Madhya Pradesh has invented a car that runs on a fuel which is both eco-friendly and cheap.
There is always a need for a substitute of Petrol, diesel, and other fossil fuels. In this need of the hour, Raees Markani, 44, finally came up with this eco-friendly car that runs on a fuel as cheap as Rs 210 to 20 per litre.
Though the vehicle looks just like an another car, a closer look reveals details of the technology used to create it.
The car runs by acetylene gas formed by a chemical reaction between calcium carbide and water. The gas has also a wide usage in several industrial purposes including welding and portable lighting for miners. Markani said that the invention would make common people breathe with ease as this will forbid them to pay for fuels pricing as much as Rs.70/litre helping them keep their pockets heavy and journey light and stress-free.
For instance, Markani has also filed for a patent for his innovation after refusing a Chinese firm, which was interested in using his innovation, asking the investors to set up the plant in his hometown. This invention comes at a time when automobile companies are seeking for a cleaner, more eco-friendly fuel in their cars.
Though there is a dearth of buyers who ask for eco-friendly cars (reasons ranging from the unavailability of green fuel at every nook and corner to yet, not in fashion), the demand for them is increasing gradually and the manufacturers definitely have to keep up this in their foresight.
So, with this innovation coming at a time when it’s needed the most, Raees has all the opportunities to explore his invention in all possible directions.
