Google Changing Its Name Called.....

Google shocked everyone on Monday when it Announced the launch of its new company
which it said will cover all its running entities and also the search engine as one of its several entities. Page called the creation of Alphabet “a very exciting new chapter in the life of Google.” He means that it’s the next step to making the search giant into an even more giant corporation. He even named Sundar Pichai as the new head of Google as he will be the CEO of Alphabet with his fellow partner Sergey Brin as the new President for the Alphabet.
Alphabet will be a new umbrella for the founders as it will cover all Google spin-offs like its health effort, Life Sciences and longevity research arm, Calico X lab which is known as the mad scientist’s paradise will also become its own company, as will Nest and Fiber. Meanwhile, Ventures, Capital, Sidewalk, and the drone-delivery service Wing will also become separate companies under Alphabet’s umbrella.
As for Google, Page said  “Under the new operating structure, its main Google Business will include search, ads, maps, apps, YouTube and Android and the related technical infrastructure (the ‘Googlebusiness’).” They will be stripping down Google as each spin off will become as seperate company with new CEO’S for each of them.
We all know that Alphabet is just restructuring Google but to create a whole new conglomerate is nothing less then a shock to everyone. Before the inception of Alphabet Inc. Google was valued at a whopping $444  Billion. In terms of shares Alphabet Inc. will replace Google Inc and the shares of Google will be automatically converted to same number of shares for Alphabet.Google Shares rallied some 5.6 per cent in After Hours Trading on the news to $US669.08.
Most of us are thinking why the name Alphabet and the founders are ready with an answer to it too. “We liked the name Alphabet because it means a collection of letters that represent language, one of humanity’s most important innovations, and is the core of how we index with Google search,” Page wrote. “We also like that it means alpha-bet (Alpha is investment return above benchmark), which we strive for!”
We hope that Alphabet continues to innovate more and more and bring us products that will be a step ahead in the world of technology.
Bye Bye Google. Alphabet Welcome!
